Some are calling it racist; others are just calling it proper attire. Either way you look at it, NBA players will need to be a little more careful about showing their bling this season: " Among the seven lines of no-nos there's the combustible fifth line that prohibits "chains, pendants, or medallions worn over the player's clothes." Some NBA players see that as a battle line."

    Did anyone else hear David Stern last weekend on Dan Patrick? Patrick called him out asking if he was wearing a collared shirt while on the radio show since it was a “public appearance”. HILARIOUS!

    I, for one, think that the new rules are not that big a deal. What work doesn’t have a dress code? As for them asking the league to stipend them for clothes, gimme a break! I love the bling and even have my own site that sells gold and diamond jewelry
    , but come on, I couldnt wear a spinner necklace hanging out of my shirt to work, could you?

    I totally agree with you. I don’t see what the deal is either with paying for their own clothes. They could even write some of them off on their taxes if they had a decent accountant. Poor babies!
